Infomation on the Roadtek SS-Agile

We have a good friend thinking about a 2008 Roadtek SS-Agile. Any comments pro or con may help them make a hard decision easier. Gas mileage, room, handling, ease of use anything would help. Thanks for your time and hope you are having a GREAT camping season.

RE: Removing Black Tank

Replaced a black tank last year. A lot of work. Need to cut vent and stand pipe to be able to drop old tank. If you need to replace the tank, you will have to remove the toilet. The new tank has to have all the holes and sensors drilled or cut in, new flanges glued on. Connection to the old pipes can be glued back together or use the compression sleeves. So make sure the tank is bad before going to all this work. GOOD LUCK!!!!

RE: Do you have a name for your RV?

First time I drove it in high wind it was as if she cut thru the wind with ease. So we named her "Mariah" after the song "They Call The Wind Mariah" from the movie "Paint Your Wagon".

RE: Tire SIPEING

Have had three sets of tires siped by Discount tire. Over 50,000 miles on the 2nd set now. 1st set had 76,000+. Did this on a truck. Not sure how they would be on a RV. Live at 9,600ft., so I used the better traction a lot(mud & snow).Wife's suv is the 3rd set, 51,000 miles on hers. I always have them siped after I run them about 10-15,000 miles. I think I will try it on the Born Free this year. I have been told the tire runs cooler.

RE: Born Free or Lazy Daze

I own a Born Free, love it. Buy a new one right now and get a FREE trip to Alaska. Not to bad a deal.
